Common questions.
When do medical school interviews take place?
Each school sets its own dates. For 2027 entry, the schools listed here interview between late November 2026 and March 2027, and some publish only a window until invitations go out.
How much notice will I get?
Notice periods vary by school, and where a school publishes one, its guide shows it. Practising before an invitation arrives means you are ready whatever the notice.
Are interviews online or in person?
Both. Some schools interview in person, some online, and some offer online interviews only to international applicants. The mode for each school is shown in the table and on its guide.
How should I prepare once I have a date?
Practise under timed conditions in the format your school uses, then review your answers against what assessors look for. The complimentary mock MMIs use the common one-minute reading, five-minute answer format.
